Beauty Salon Treatments in Lebanon: Pricing and Quality Guide
AdvisorLB Team
Lebanese salon culture is famously high-touch and high-volume — a wedding morning can see a salon turning over a dozen looks an hour. That speed produces both incredible talent and rushed, damaging work. Knowing the basics helps you choose well and avoid overpaying.
What you should typically pay (Beirut)
- Cut and blow-dry: USD 20–60 depending on length and salon tier.
- Single-process color (root touch-up): USD 40–100.
- Highlights / balayage: USD 100–300+ for long hair.
- Keratin / smoothing treatment: USD 100–300, lasts 3–5 months.
- Bridal trial: USD 80–200; wedding-day hair-and-makeup USD 200–600+.
Red flags before you commit
- No patch test before color on first-time clients.
- No strand test before chemical treatments on already-processed hair.
- "Brazilian" smoothing treatments that smell strongly of formaldehyde — those are unsafe in poorly ventilated salons.
- Pressure to upgrade or add services beyond what you booked.
Bridal bookings
Always do a trial 2–4 weeks before the wedding. Photograph the look in natural and indoor light. Book the lead stylist by name, not just the salon — substitution on the day is common. Confirm arrival time, touch-up kit, and travel charges in writing.
