Preparing for Your First Dentist Visit
AdvisorLB Team
Routine dental visits are the simplest way to avoid expensive treatment later. If it has been more than a year since your last cleaning, the first visit will usually include a thorough exam and a hygiene session.
What to bring
- Your civil ID and any insurance card.
- A list of medications you currently take.
- Notes about any pain, sensitivity or bleeding.
What to ask
Always ask for a written estimate before agreeing to any work beyond cleaning. Ask whether x-rays are included and how often they are needed.
